Eric Sutz
Eric is a Green Elite Coach for Lead ‘Em Up and serves as the co-director of the ELITE program. As one of only 13 nationally certified Lead ‘Em Up coaches, Eric has spent over 20 years coaching at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels.
He serves as the Head Varsity Coach of Port Washington Softball and was honored as the 2025 New York High School Softball Coach of the Year. His coaching philosophy is built on a career dedicated to developing student-athletes across multiple age groups and competitive levels.
Professionally, Eric is a veteran educator with over two decades of experience in elementary education. He is passionate about fostering growth and leadership in the next generation, both in the classroom and on the softball field.
Eric lives with his wife, Heather, who is also a long-time educator, and their two active sons.
