Real Leadership Talk for Today’s Athletes

We’ve launched something we wish we had when we were athletes.

The Green Room is a new regular video series hosted by Lead ‘Em Up’s Adam Bradley and Leon Thurston, created to give athletes the tools, mindset, and motivation to win the leadership moments they face every single day.

Leadership isn’t a buzzword. It’s a skill. And like any skill, it needs to be practiced, stretched, and refined. That’s what The Green Room is all about.

Our goal is to help your athletes Be Green and Build Green each and every day.

What Is The Green Room?

The Green Room is a leadership mentoring video series designed specifically for athletes. In each short episode, we dive into real-life situations players face, all the challenges, conflicts, team dynamics, and tough conversations, breaking them down with tangible strategies and relatable insight.

We’re not giving you theory. We’re giving you real answers to real leadership problems, pulled straight from the locker rooms and sidelines we’re working in every day.

Think of it as your team’s leadership mentor. The Green Room gives your athletes an ongoing voice in their leadership development journey, helping them become the kind of players who raise the standard and elevate everyone around them.

Who It’s For

  • If you’re a player: The Green Room will shift your leadership mindset. It’ll challenge you to think differently, act with intention, and start leading in ways your team actually needs. It’s designed to make you better, and to spark growth in the teammates around you.
  • If you’re a coach: This is your new leadership resource. Teams across the country are watching The Green Room together and using it to kick off meaningful leadership conversations. It’s a plug and play way to bring consistent leadership training into your team environment.

Why We Made It

We’ve worked with thousands of athletes. And here’s the truth: most young players want to lead, they just don’t know how. The Green Room fills that gap.

We created this series to meet players where they are, speaking directly to the real leadership dynamics they face. From learning how to lead when injured, to being more leadable themselves, to building trust before accountability, these episodes cover the moments that actually matter.

We’re not interested in surface-level slogans. We’re committed to real growth.
