“I couldn’t be more excited for our Certification. For years Coaches have asked, ““how can I go deeper and get more involved in Lead ‘Em Up”” and we never had a great solution. Now we do. There are some incredible coaches across the country and coaches who have been major supporters of Lead ‘Em Up and I can’t wait to help them continue to grow as a coach, a leader in their communities and open up opportunities for them in the future”

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are you only taking 12 applicants?

We want to fully support and be majorly invested with the applicants as they go through the certification process and we recognize having too many applicants limits our ability to serve them well.

Will there be future opportunities to apply if we aren’t selected?

Yes! We are currently looking at opening the application window for Certifications 1-2 times a year.

What do you have to complete to become certified?

Certification is a 90-day process (consisting of 5-6 hours) where you will be required to participate in our kickoff call, complete a 6-part self-guided Leadership Development Course, complete a special innovative Leadership Project with an assigned “6” partner (you’ll be partnered up with another coach around the country who will be your “6” during certification) and then present your project to the rest of the Certification group.

Once you’re certified, are you certified forever?

No. Think of our Certification as a license that has to be renewed. Once you complete Certification as long as you continue honoring your eligibility requirements of the following, your certification will remain active:

  • 75% participation in ongoing trainings, webinars, and events,
  • Have an active Lead ‘Em Up Coaches Membership
  • Actively implementing and facilitating the Lead ‘Em Up program
  • Honor the Lead ‘Em Up Green Team Code of Conduct
How do we become eligible to be a Regional Coach and earn revenue?

Once you complete Certifcation if you’re interested in becoming a Regional Coach to facilitate Lead ‘Em Up trainings to schools, teams, companies, etc., you will have an opportunity to move to our second tier of certification. The second tier will include an additional round of interviews, a business plan development project and a facilitation film study review.

What happens if a Certified Coach violates the Lead ‘Em Up Code of Conduct?

As a leadership and character organization, character is the #1 priority. Violating the Code of Conduct could result in immediate removal of one’s Certification at the discretion of the Lead ‘Em Up team.

In the Eligibility Requirements, what does it mean to be "Actively implementing and facilitating the Lead 'Em Up program"

Lead ‘Em Up is designed to impact others and we want all the Certified Coaches to be actively implementing the program whether that is in their school, on a team, or in their workplace. We understand some coaches may not currently be coaching. In those instances, we want you to actively pursue opportunities to implement and facilitate the program.

What is the Special Referral Program?

We will be providing Regional Coaches the opportunity to earn revenue through a special referral program for any teams, programs, or schools referred to Lead ‘Em Up. This new revenue-based referral program is available for certified coaches only.

How/When would I be able to earn revenue as a Regional Coach?

Once you successfully complete certification, if you are interested, you are eligible to pursue becoming a Regional Coach. There will be additional requirements, interviews, and evaluations prior to earning Regional Coach opportunities. This will take place over 30-60 days. If/when you complete the requirements you’ll have the opportunity to serve as a 1099 (Independent Contractor) Regional Coach leading sessions professionally, in athletics and in education.

What is the difference between a Certified Coach and a Regional Coach?

A Certified Coach is any coach that completes the Certification. A Regional Coach is a Certified Coach (who’s completed the Certification) and has also gone through the additional requirements to become eligible for revenue-earning opportunities.

What does it mean to "Gift a Green Team Framework"

Each year you’ll have an opportunity to gift a team a Green Team Framework membership. You can select a team of choice to serve and impact with the gift of the Framework to help them develop their leaders and enhance culture.

What is included in the Community Benefits?

That is a good question. It’s hard to say right now but we are viewing our Certified Coaches as an extension of the Lead ‘Em Up team. As we continue to grow, opportunities are often made available to us, speaking at clinics, presenting at conferences, being advisors for launch groups, testing new products, etc., and we will turn to our Certified Coaches with those opportunities when applicable.
