Leadership is a skill schools need to be intentional in developing. The activities, lessons, and language of Lead ‘Em Up have allowed our school to build a culture where our students and staff are excited to contribute as both leaders and followers. Lead ‘Em Up Classroom has provided a framework for building community and allowed students to define the standards that need to be met to make our school “special”. Students are taking ownership of the culture and environment by leaning in to make sure that they and those around them are living up to our shared values and expectations. The lessons and activities are engaging and lay the foundation for rich discussions, learning and personal growth. Several of our students have said, “I wish we had this my whole High School career, this is just what we needed.
The Lead ‘Em Up Classroom curriculum has been an incredible edition to our school. It has brought an interactive and fun piece to our LEAD class that was missing. Adam and his team have done a great job developing a curriculum that is meaningful, but makes connections with the students to help them be better communicators, better listeners, better leaders, but most of all better people.
