Christine Flanagan

Regional Coach

Christine is a regional coach for Lead ‘Em Up, a leadership and team performance organization, and got connected with Lead ‘Em Up while serving as the head girls soccer coach at South River High School in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. After seeing the positive impact on her team, she officially joined the coaching team in 2024.

Christine played soccer at Anne Arundel Community College before earning her degree in Psychology from UMBC. She’s coached both soccer and swimming and is passionate about building character-driven programs through leadership development.

In addition to coaching, Christine works as a financial manager at JHU/APL. She supports student-athletes through both academic and personal development. She’s especially focused on helping young women grow in confidence, leadership, and resilience on and off the field.

Christine lives in Odenton, Maryland, with her dog Cliff and enjoys playing pickleball, spending time outdoors, and treating herself to mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Today, do what others won’t, so tomorrow you can accomplish what others can’t.
