Alex Blazek
Dedicated father and husband living in New Market, Maryland. For the last 8 years, I have been teaching Adapted Physical Education in Howard County, Maryland, as well as 5 years in Carroll County, Maryland, in a similar role. I coached high school basketball for 12 years, 7 as a Head Varsity Coach at Glenelg High School. I also have 5+ years of experience coaching teams in travel and AAU basketball as well.
I received my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park, and my Master’s in Education (PE & Health) from McDaniel College in Westminster, MD.
In my free time, I enjoy supporting my daughter in her athletic pursuits, reading, working out, hunting, playing golf, and spending time with family and friends.
