My personal leadership philosophy could be summarized in this way. In order to become first, you must first become last. I seek to be a leader by first serving and using my gifts for the benefit of others. My heart’s desire is to give the best of me to help others achieve their best.
In a sports culture that promotes the individual, I believe I am called to walk a different path. My path is to teach others to forsake the idea of “me” in pursuit of 3. It is only in the pursuit of something bigger than myself can I truly experience the rewards this life has to offer.
